Louise Horton Robbins Broyhill (1929- ), the wife of James Thomas Broyhill, who served as a Representative and a Senator from North Carolina. Born in Durham, North Carolina, Broyhill was educated at Hollins College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and assisted her husband's campaign. She has been a Trustee of Wake Forest University and Baptist Hospital, a board member of Friends of UNCTV, an Associates Board Member of Wolf Trap. She also participated in the Congressional Wives Club, Republican Wives Club, Colonial Dames and several historical societies and the Congressional Wives Prayer Group.
