Mabel Methodist Episcopal Church, South Sunday School was the Methodist Episcopal Sunday School for Mabel and Union communities in Watauga County, North Carolina. It was named Union Methodist Episcopal Church, South Sunday School until 1921. The Mabel Methodist Episcopal Church, South Sunday School Collection is a collection of fifteen Sunday School record books spanning the years 1886 to 1935. Included within the record books are the names and attendance of Sunday School members, Sunday School officer and teachers, the ministers, the record of Scripture reading, hymn singing, and lesson topics as well as ephemera such as obituary clippings.
