Brazillar Jackson Davis lived in Watauga County, North Carolina from 1868-1956. He married Sallie Proffit in 1887. She lived from 1870-1961.
Prior to the 1996 conservation work, the Bible was in fragile condition. The Bible's title page is missing. Photographs were taken prior to the conservation work. Photographs are stored separately.
