| Abstract: | Globe Public School Records consist of school records of Globe School in Caldwell County, North Carolina, for selected years between 1858 and 1886. The most complete coverage is between 1877 and 1886. The District number was originally 6, but changed to number 1 sometime between 1863 and 1877. Predominant family names were Moore, Gragg, Estes and Mast. The records provide students' ages, guardians' names, attendance and the teachers' comments. Some undated sheets included. |
