Container List

Documents Series. (n.d.)
Documents Series contains a three page typed list of the audiocassettes' contents.
Audio-cassettes Series. (1972-1982)
Audio-cassettes Series contains sixteen audio-cassettes. Tape 1 contains brief biographical information. Some recordings are in poor condition. Six audio-cassettes are dated December 1982, thirteen months after Ward's death. A comparison of earlier cassettes to these showed that the same voice was recorded. The true date is unknown; however, Ward states that he was 74 years old at the time of the recording which would place the recording after December 1980. The remainder of the cassettes contain Ward's tales and songs. Tales are primarily Jack Tales, Hardy Hard Head, ghost stories, and other stories.
