| The Globe community is situated near Grandfather Mountain in Avery County, North Carolina. The site of much Civil War disputes, Globe was the home of Keith and Malinda Blalock. This collection provides a map and photographic representation of key landmarks, such as churches, stores and cemeteries. | |
