Biographical and Historical Note

Al Dunkleman graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (1977), A.A. from Virginia Highlands Community College (1996), B.A. in Applied Sociology from University of North Carolina at Wilmington (2000), and a Masters of Arts Degree in Sociology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, (2003). He had taught photography, guitar, Spanish, basic drawing as well as worked in the social work field at State Street Church of Christ, Agape of North Carolina in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Pine Valley Church of Christ in Wilmington. Since the Fall of 2002, he has been Sociology Instructor at Cleveland Community College in Shelby, North Carolina.
