Appalachian Librarians Traveling to China

Four Appalachian State University librarians are traveling to Shanghai, China, to meet with colleagues at the Fudan University Library to plan for a future exchange of librarians, culture, and information. The ASU librarians, Allan Scherlen, Mary Reichel (University Librarian), Xiaorong Shao, and Beth Cramer, begin their travels on May 12, 2008, and will also be visiting libraries at the Shaanxi Normal University in Xi’an and the Beijing Normal University.
