The Main Stacks are the collection of books in Belk Library that are circulating and can be checked out. They are located on the second and third floors of the library and are arranged according to the Library of Congress classification system. See the Main Stacks floor plans (PDF).
For help in reading library call numbers, take a look at this handy guide: How to Read Library Call Numbers.
Let us know, and we'll help you find it.
If an item has a "Not Checked Out" status in the catalog and you cannot locate it on the shelf, go to the Library Service Desk on the first floor for help. If we locate the missing item, we will notify you by email. The item will be held at the Library Service Desk for seven days for you to pick it up.
Try our Request It! service.
This service is a function of the library catalog that allows eligible patrons to have items at ASU Library pulled and placed "On Hold" at the Library Service Desk. Questions about the Request It! service may be directed to Thomas Main via mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
