ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center)
Microform Collection
The ERIC database provides educators and those studying education access to an enormous pool of information. ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) has compiled articles, papers, monographs and raw data pertinent to the educational field and made them available on microfiche. In the ERIC Collection you will find information on a variety of topics, ranging from how to use technology in the classroom, to craft projects for kindergarteners, to the emotional problems that teens may face in today's educational system. ERIC is an invaluable resource for the teacher or teacher-to-be and is an excellent way to learn what people in the profession are saying.
The Collection
The Library's ERIC collection on microfiche includes over 600,000 ERIC documents covering through January 2004.
How to Access the Information in the Collection
In order to access the information in the ERIC collection, the Library currently provides the following electronic access to the ERIC index:
Additional electronic access to ERIC documents is available through:
It is important to note that the ERIC database includes references to both ERIC Documents and ERIC Journals. The Library receives all titles in the ERIC Documents collection. This is not the case for the ERIC Journals Collection. If you have an ERIC Journal citation, check to see if that journal is available in WNCLN's Library Catalog.
