Find an Article when you have the Article Citation
Sample article citation search:
Spy Train Scouts Global Warming; Mone, Greg. Popular Science, May 2003. vol.262, issue 5, p.44
Step 1: Search for the journal (or magazine) title within the WNCLN online catalog.
Connect to the WNLNC online catalog.
Click on the Journal tab.
Type, popular science and click Enter.Note: If the journal title wasn't listed at all, double-check the journal title and it's spelling. Try again. If it still isn't listed you will use ILLiad to request the journal article.
Step 2: Click on the journal title to see what is available.
Click on the title, Popular Science.
This screen lists databases that provide full-text of the journal.Note: Do you see the journal title, but there isn't an online version? You will use ILLiad to request the article.
Step 3: Select a database that includes the year of your journal.
Find the database that includes the year 2003.
Click on Academic Search Premier.
Now a screen will display asking for your real name and your Banner ID #.
Provide that information and click on Submit.
Step 4: Navigate to the year, volume and issue you need.
Click on the year, 2003.
Now click on the volume, 262.
A list of the articles within that issue will display.
Step5: Browse through the list until you find the article title you want.
Look for Spy Train Scouts Global Warming
Click on the html, pdf, or other link to the online text.
You can read, print, or e-mail the article to yourself.
