Introduction

This section reviews your options for borrowing books and obtaining copies of articles. Don’t hesitate to contact the DL library staff, or the Document Delivery staff with any document delivery questions you may have.

As you conduct your research, you will identify books, articles and other resources that you will want to consult in depth. As a Distance Learning student, there are special document delivery services available to you.

Document Delivery Options:

Tip:

Books held at ASU, Western, or Asheville are requested via ABC Express.

• Within the WNCLN catalog, locate the book you need. Click on the ABC Express option. Follow the prompts, including:
  • In the "Choose a Pickup Location" box, select "ASU Distance Learning ."
• All article requests go through ILLiad. You do not request journal volumes from Western or Asheville via ABC Express. Doing so will delay your receipt of the article.

All other document delivery requests go through ILLiad.
