Borkowski Reading RoomNaming a Space in the Library

How to Give homepage

The Library moved into a beautiful new building in June 2005 and was rechristened Belk Library and Information Commons to reflect its expanded services. Many individual patrons, families, and groups have shown their support and pride by naming spaces in the new Library building. A number of highly visible study rooms, lounges media centers are still available to be named, as well as some of the building's signature spaces like the Atrium, Lecture Hall, University Archives, and Periodicals Reading Area. Income is used to buy furniture and art, and to support Library services. Named rooms may acknowledge the generosity of individuals or groups of donors, celebrate the service legacy of University or community members, or honor the memory of a loved one.
