Learn about what goes on in Special Collections by following its new blog!  Special Collections, located on the 4th floor of Belk Library and Information Commons, includes the W.L. Appalachian Collection, the University Archives, the Stock Car Racing Collection, and Rare Books and Manuscripts.  Through the blog, Special Collections personnel and guest writers tell stories about collections and highlight services, exhibits, and events.

Recent posts discuss the influence of leaders in the field of Appalachian Studies, such as Dr. Cratis D. Williams and Dr. Patricia D. Beaver; a new collection of photographer William A. Bake and a new exhibit of snow scenes on campus over time; and perspectives on archives and the power of place, and archives in the movies, like Rogue One!

Visit the blog at or click to it from the Special Collections homepage.
