It Takes a Village! Information Fair for App State Students with Children - 8/29

Are you a student at Appalachian State University who has children under the age of 18? Then this event is for you! Come to this Student Parent Information Fair for App State students with childrento find out more about resources and services to help you succeed in your role as parent and student during your time at App and in Boone!

Appalachian State University Libraries has collaborated with several departments across campus (including Transfer Admissions and Engagement, Student Veteran Services, Counselling and Psychological Services, New Mountaineer and Family Engagement, the Office of the Dean of Students, etc.), as well as community organizations in Boone (including the Watauga County Public Library, The Children's Playhouse of Boone, the Children's Council of Watauga County, etc.) in order to share with you relevant, helpful information to help support you!

*Dinner is provided for attendees. Student parents are welcome to a "Student Parent Survival Kit" filled with school supplies and fun swag; children who attend will also be given "Kid Kits" filled with goodies. The Children's Council of Watauga County will be hosting a children's crafting and activities corner:)
