Aaron Lubkemann, Library Student Employee Scholarship Awardee made a presentation at the Pi Mu Epsilon Undergraduate Poster Session at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Boston, Massachusetts in January 2023. Aaron's poster was entitled, "The Radial Basis Function - Finite Difference Method".
Lubkemann said, "I had the unique opportunity to showcase a year’s worth of mathematical research at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Boston Massachussets. This massive conference provided me with excellent networking options along with informative lectures and sessions in addition to giving me the chance to share my research in an Undergraduate Poster Session. The experience of showcasing my work to peers, mathematicians, and industry experts was exhilarating, educational, and incredibly rewarding for me!! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend."
