Kim Sims resigned from the Appalachian State University Libraries effective July 21, 2023. Kim accepted a position as the Associate University Librarian for Special Collections and Archives at Washington & Lee University in Virginia.
We deeply appreciate all the contributions Kim has made to the University Libraries over the past four years. During her tenure, Kim acquired and processed the MerleFest Archives, planned for the new offsite storage facility, and purchased several rare books to support our curriculum, among other things.
We would like to thank Kim for her support and wish her the very best of luck in her new role at Washington & Lee University.
