Submit a short work of fiction (must be 500 words or less) and you could win a $150 gift certificate from the University Bookstore. Gift certificates to the top 3 authors. Open to all current Appalachian State University Students.

• Story must be 500 words or less
• Story must include the Wired Scholar Coffee Shop in some manner
• Double-spaced, typed, 12-point font
• Submit entry by email attachment (.doc or .pdf file) with subject line "Flash Fiction Contest" to boydjd@appstate.edu [1]
• Put your name and email address on attached cover sheet
• Deadline for all stories is Friday, March 16 (deadline extended to March 23), 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
