PsycINFO, 1887-present; Some full text. 
Provides citations, with abstracts, to journal articles, dissertations, books, book chapters, and reports covering the professional and academic literature in psychology and related disciplines.

Family & Society Studies Worldwide, 1970-present.
References, with lengthy abstracts, for journal articles and books from a wide range of disciplines on family and human development.

Academic Search Premier, 1984-present; Full Text: 1990-present. 
A general database which provides full text for 1,250 magazines and journals and citations with abstracts to nearly 3,000 titles. Over 1,600 titles are peer-reviewed.

Sociological Abstracts,
Provides citations (and abstracts since 1974) for articles in more than 2,500 international journals, serials, conference papers, books, and dissertations. Also indexes Social Planning/Policy and Development Abstracts (SOPODA) which focuses on solutions to social problems.

Child Abuse, Child Welfare and Adoption, 1965-present.   
Contains citations and abstracts from books, journals, government reports, conference papers, state annual reports, curricula, and unpublished papers.
