RAP Sessions (Research Advisory Program)
- Appointments are available Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm.
- We require at least a 72 hour notice from time of receipt to prepare adequately for a RAP session.
- Please fill out and submit a RAP Session Request Form.
- If you need immediate research assistance please stop by the Reference/Information desk.
The Research Advisory Program (RAP) provides students the opportunity to meet with a librarian for in-depth reference assistance to identify appropriate sources for a research topic. Often help at the Reference Desk is limited due to time. RAP sessions will give students uninterrupted time with a librarian to learn about reference materials, databases in a specific field or discipline, and research strategies.. RAP Sessions will give students the opportunity to actively participate in the research process. Sessions can last from 15 minutes to an hour or more depending on the student's research needs.
