EndNote Web EndNote Web is a user-friendly, web-based reference organizer with online storage for references.  It is a time-saving solution for students and researchers, designed to help students through the process of writing a research paper and to instantly format bibliographies.  It is fully integrated with ISI Web of Knowledge.    Undergraduate students can organize their references for citing in papers.   Professional reseachers and graduate students can use EndNote Web as a complement to EndNote X, as well as storing references between ISI Web of Knowledge search sessions. Files may be transferred back and forth from EndNote X libraries. EndNote X

EndNote X is a more comprehensive verstion of the bibliographic software program, with advanced features to facilitate the maintenance and storage of bibliographic citations, web resources and images.

Appalachian State University has a site license for the EndNote software. It may be downloaded and installed on campus computers from the Application Explorer; choose APPSTATE, then Library Tools, then EndNote.

Appalachian faculty, staff and students may also install the software on their personal computers.  Discs for installing EndNote for both Windows and Apple Mac are available for checkout at the Circulation desk in Belk Library.
