Coin-Op Locker Regulations
Location
Coin-Op lockers are located in the 1st floor atrium, across from Room 114.
Eligibility
The lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis to university faculty, staff and students as well as to any visitors using the Library.
Locks
Lockers are secured with a key lock. A replacement fee of $50.00 will be assessed for any lost key. A key will be considered ‘lost’ if a Library staff member is required to open the locker. Proof of ownership must be provided before contents will be turned over to the requestor.
Loan Period
Lockers are intended for short-term use. Instructions for the use of the lockers are posted on the inside of each locker door.
Conditions of Use
Posting notices on lockers and storing food and drink in lockers is prohibited. Lockers from which odors appear to be emanating will be cleared immediately, and the contents will be disposed of.
The Library and the University assume no responsibility in the case of loss or damage to any items stored in the lockers.
Maintenance
Please report any problems with the lockers to the 1st Floor Circulation Desk.
Clearing Lockers
Lockers will be cleared at the end of each academic term. Signs will be posted well in advance of doing so. On the date indicated, Library staff will
- remove library materials, checking them in and returning them to the shelves;
- hold personal items until the 3rd day of the next semester/session, after which they will be disposed of.
In order to claim personal items:
- Key must be returned, or lost key fee must be paid.
- Proof of ownership must be provided.
Identifying information in the locker will be used to bill the $50.00 lost key fee.
