Reference Materials generally do not circulate, but exceptions may be made. Permission and a loan period will be determined by a reference librarian. Signed form must be brought to the Circulation Desk with the material. In-house only In-house only

2Reserves circulation times are indicated on the item and are determined by the faculty member placing them on reserve. Generally, they are 2 hours in-house, 24 hours or 3 days.

3Renewals are not available if there is a 'hold' on the item for another patron.

Loan Periods for Special Collections

All patron types, except Affiliated College patrons, have the same loan privileges for circulating materials in the Appalachian and Stock Car collections. Generally, items in these collection go out for 14 days, with the exception of videos/DVDs, which circulate for one week.
