Fines for most collections are $0.20 per day for each item. Fines for videos and DVDs are $0.50 per day for each item. Recalled items accrue higher fines per day. See our fines and fees page for more information. As a courtesy, three overdue notices are sent via email. A block is placed on any cardholder owing $25 or more.
No fines are assessed if items are returned within the grace period. If items are returned after the grace period, fines are retroactive to the first overdue day.
